Time flys....

So Amber and I were sitting in our house and realized a few things. One its been a week since we posted and its been way too long since I sat down at the keyboard.

So I'm going to attempt to fix both right now as everyone else in the house sleep. Which I have to admit at times, this is my favorite time of day. One has to take in context that my day, the ones when Im not at work, usually starts around 5:30am recently due to some odd reason Ruari has become a morning person and has to have her sesame street and cheerio fix. However next thing I know its 645 and the other two are up and ready for breakfast. After watching a Jack's Big Music show, it looks like its about 930 and the kids are ready for a nap. Usually so are mommy and daddy but we use this time to eat our breakfast and shower. The day pretty much goes into high gear by this point with the kids getting up and us trying to get out of the house, do lunch, shop/run errands and get back for afternoon nap. Next we know we are cooking dinner for them and trying to wind down the night before the last clothing/diaper change of the day and get them in bed around 7pm. Amber and I get to sit down and eat some dinner and watch a little TV. She usually gets to bed around 9 and Im left all alone for little while to watch "my dumb shows" and unwind before I crawl into bed and get ready for 530am and work the next day... Yes time does fly.

I also sit here and realize time flies in bigger ways too.. In just about twos years ago will be when we started this blog. That's right it is almost two years ago that we found out we were to be to the parents of triplets.. Now here I sit the dad to 17 month old triplets and expecting to add a baby girl in just 8 weeks.... Time is flying by.....

Amber and I also realized something.. that we have been a couple for coming up on 7 years now... When we first met she was still in college and I was finishing paramedic school. It amazing how so many things have happened, the good and the bad, the easy and the challenging.. the sad and joyful, over these last years. I have to take a moment to say that I consider myself a very lucky man, and husband... I wouldn't be who or where I am without Amber. I am sure some days she wonders what she got herself into when she started dating this crazy paramedic guy Jersey, but I'm sure happy she said yes.

Time is flying. I think I need to stop more often and sit back and enjoy it and try to slow it down when I can. I don't think I ready to send three kids to their first day of kindergarten anytime soon....let alone a 4th one.....

30 weeks

Well I have made it to 30 weeks today. And in a few more day the trio will be 17 months old. How crazy is that! I still can't believe we are doing this. Some days are better then others. I'm not longer giving the kids baths because it has become just to much for me to do by myself. I'm still doing just about everything else. I have learned lately that I do have to take things a little slower. If I don't take it slow then I end up have braxton hicks contractions.

The kids have become very needed and really like to hang on or sit with me at all times of the day. Which I love them but at the same time it really hurts me because I'm very round in the middle. We are all adjusting and I have no clue what is ahead for us. I think that is the scaryest part sometimes.

Declan, Emma, and Ruari are doing so well these days. I can't believe how big they get everyday. Ruari has a whole vocabulary that she uses. She has also picked up even more signs. Emma and Declan are doing well with their words too. They each have a few. Declan is having some trouble with his speech so he will start seeing a speech therapist every other week. Well it is almost time to start getting ready for bed so I'm going to cut it here for now. But I'm going to try and update more tomorrow or the next day.

It has been awhile

Here at our house it have been very busy. Jamison had been away for the past two weeks for work. This left me very busy, trying to be super mommy. I would like to say that I did have some help from my mom, my mother in law, and my aunt. With out them I may just have lost my mind. I also have my been trying to take it easy a little more. I will be 30 weeks in a few days and just tired easily. I'm going to try and do a few postings this week.

Welcome to Friday and Day 4

Well we are on to day 4 of Declan's no diary diet. I'd have to say it has been working. We have had no spitting up or puking at all. I feel so bad for my little man. Our Dr. did say that after the 10 days are up we can see if we can add things with dairy back into his diet. I really have been working on expending at three of there diets, especially in the meat and veggies department.

Well here is a rare picture of all three of them. I have the hardest time getting three 16 month olds to hold still for more then two seconds.
