Well we had a long night last night....Emma has been sick with a cold all week and not sleeping well.. Amber had her downstairs and was about to bring her backupstairs.... She stepped onto the hardwood floor and apparently one of the dogs vomitted.. Amber slipped and both her and Emma fell to the ground. Emma landed feet first on the ground and Amber landed on her side...
After setting a new land speed record from work to home we all went to the Emergency room... After several hours and some pain medication and xrays later we found that poor little Emma had a fracture to her left leg and was going to be placed in a full leg cast for the next 3 to 5 weeks. Poor little thing she was just getting the hang of crawling....
Amber is pretty brusied up and sore so hopefully she will be feeling better soon. The worst is that she wishes that she had the broken leg instead. I guess we would do anything to take the pain and suffering away from our children.

That's always the hardest...when your child is hurting and you can't take the pain instead of them. Who knew that parenting would feel that way?
Praying everything goes well!! Hopefully it will be less than what expected...and the bruising goes away soon!

poor things! both of you. as if dealing with the sick baby wasn't enough, there is dog vomit on the floor that you fall in and then find out the baby has a broken leg! that is not fair at all! hope she is better soon!
