21 months old

I feel like its been forever since the last post. But the triplets are now 21 months old. As nearing two they are so active and into everything these days, so I keep pretty busy. Piper is also staying awake more during the day. Between Piper and trips these days our house stays very busy. Jamison and I are loving every minute right now. Well at least most of it. The kids have lots of new things going on too.

Declan, Emma, and Ruari amaze me every single day. The girls pick up new words so quickly you wouldn't believe it. Some of their favorite words are NO!, dog, baby, and uh oh. Declan is doing great as well. He has been working with a speech therapist for the last 4 months or so. He has a few words too, but not as many as the girls. Declan tends to you signs a lot more then the girls. They also talk to each other, most of the time I have no clue what they are saying to each other, but they seem to understand each other just fine.

My three little monkeys are great climber still. Declan is the best out of all three. He is so good that we had to convert his crib to a toddler bed. He is doing great with it. We are so proud of him. We do have to gate him into his room at night just to keep him save. I can hear him most nights playing quietly in room for a while, but eventually he climbs into bed and off to sleep he goes.

Piper is now two months old and doing great also. She loves to eat and is growing so fast. Her big sister just love her so much. They all love giving her kisses, but the girls are really interested in her. They want to help feed her, hold her, hug her, and even give her high fives. I think Declan could take or leave her right now. Maybe it's just to many girls for him. Piper does great at night right now too. She will sleep for about a 6 hour stretch at night. It looks like she might be a red head of the group too. I guess only time will tell.
